Abstract

During 2024, a roadmapping exercise was carried out in CIMNE. It was a first pilot experience with the idea of scoping the future needs of industry and government to improve technology transfer, align research interests with market needs and find application areas for emerging research. This Coffee Talk will explain the process followed, both in terms of design and implementation, as well as in terms of post-processing the information obtained. The conclusions drawn by each of CIMNE’s strategic areas will be detailed, as well as the general lessons learned from the roadmapping exercise.
